The Anna Foundation is a nonprofit charity organisation. Please request this Section18A donation receipt for tax purposes.

CORPORATE DONORS, did you know that we can issue your company with a certificate that can be submitted to a BEE verification agency for points on your BEE scorecard?

Small and medium businesses, you can earn 25 out of a required 65 points by donating to the Anna Foundation.  As a business owner, you will earn points under the ‘socio-economic development’ category on your BEE scorecard when you contribute to Anna Foundation. We will then issue you with a receipt which you can then submit in order to get your points. If you donate 1% of your net profit after tax you will score 25 points, as long as the charity is *compliant and you submit your supporting documentation. There are professional verification agencies that will certify your BEE status.  A list can be found on www.abva.co.za

*Compliant : The full value of the contributions made is recognizable if at least 75% of the value directly benefits previously disadvantaged South Africans. The Anna Foundation’s beneficiaries meet this criterion.

All activities initiated and implemented by the Anna Foundation rely on funding and donations. A donation received, no matter how big or small, will change the lives of the children with whom we work !

DIFFERENT WAYS IN WHICH TO VOLUNTEER

BE A SUPPORT RUNNER

For a working person, being a support runner is a great way to join in. At each month‘s fun run we need support runners who encourage the younger children (grades R to 2) to run the 5km route. So, if you don’t know what to do with your Saturday mornings, why not add your name to our support runner mailing list and you’ll be notified of each month’s fun run details. You do not have to commit to coming to every month’s run and you don't have to be ultra fit but if you are active it helps. Most rewarding are the smiles on completion of the 5kms and the sense of achievement which can be clearly seen on the faces of the little ones.

VOLUNTEER AT A FARM PROJECT: Remedial/Sports

We do not allow volunteers on a short term basis as we need to ensure that the children are not exposed to people coming and going at different times. Volunteers who want to become involved on the farms are required to make a longer term commitment and to commit to being at the project every week on a specific day. Should you wish to give of your time and assist the children as a remedial or sports volunteer, please fill in the Volunteer Form and email back to info@annafoundation.com

ORGANISE A FUN FRIDAY!

Fridays are flexible days on the farms where individuals or groups of volunteers can have the opportunity to run a project for an afternoon (perfect for companies to become involved). In order to ensure that the children will have a well-thought out, smooth flowing and enjoyable day, volunteers first need to plan what they would like to do with the children for the 2 hours which our staff then approves to ensure feasibility of the idea. So, if you would like to show the children how to paint their own cushion covers followed by an exciting treasure hunt combined with an obstacal course (for example), please get in touch with us.  We'd love to hear your ideas!

SUPPORT THROUGH SPORT

We have a number of supporters who have run up, over and through South African (and Lesotho!) mountain ranges dressed in Anna Foundation gear. We have also had our yellow t-shirt proudly paraded overseas: Jessa Stevens has competed in long distance races all the way over in the USA and Margriet Prins has walked 200km through the Netherlands for us. Cyclists need not feel left out - we also have a cycling kit! Whether you run, walk or cycle, we really appreciate the stars who are 'active' in support of the Anna Foundation and by wearing our t-shirt, you’re helping us get our name “out there”!  If you are interested in "wearing our yellow flag", please email info@annafoundation.com and we'll be in touch.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO DONATE SPECIFIC GOODS, SERVICES OR GIVE OF YOUR TIME, PLEASE CONTACT US AT info@annafoundation.com
