With the support of our partners Pedal Power we are now introducing these fortunate farm children to mountain biking. We have purchased 15 new bikes, helmets, cycling kit and tools plus a bike trailer, which ensures the bikes are rotated between farms. Our bike manual teaches the children about cycling safety, bike care and maintenance, correct use of the bike and riding the bikes. With the help of volunteers, farm parents and farm children, each farm has built a short mountain bike track for the children to practice on.
